“We’re incredibly excited to partner with USA Cycling to host the 2021 Marathon Mountain Bike National Championships at Gambrill State Park and the Frederick Watershed CWMA in Frederick, Maryland this October. The relationship our office has built with USA Cycling over the past few years has been one that we value immensely. USA Cycling knows that Maryland is a world-class destination for all types of cycling, from mountain biking to road racing. Along with our TEAM Maryland partner, Visit Frederick, and partners City of Frederick and Mid-Atlantic Off-Road Enthusiasts (MORE), we look forward to showcasing everything the community has to offer, from the picturesque, albeit incredibly challenging course, to the warm hospitality and welcoming atmosphere that the people of Frederick offer to folks from all walks of life.” said Terry Hasseltine, Executive Director of the Maryland Sports Commission.
Saturday will see riders from all over the country take on a technical and challenging course. The event will be open to riders ages 17 and older.
