USA Cycling has revealed the course for the 2018 USA Cycling Cyclocross National Championships which will take place in Louisville, Ky. starting December 11, 2018 and concluding December 16 with the Elite, U23, and Junior 17-18 championship races.
The race will take place at Joe Creason Park, which was also the location of the 2017 Pan American Cyclocross Championships. The 2.8 km course is set in large bowl with technical downhills and tough climbs. It includes a sand pit as well as a 15 step flyover.
"This course is going to be fantastic for both participants and spectators,” said Shawn Brett, National Events Manager for USA Cycling and Race Director for the event, “In the past the courses have been strung out over a wide area, but this venue is much more compact which means a more exciting atmosphere for the riders and a better viewing experience for fans."

This event is truly an event for the entire family with race categories for all ages and a kids’ cyclocross area near the finish line for the youngest riders to enjoy. Online Registration for the event closes on December 7, 2018 with early registration ending on November 9, 2018.
