"It feels great, with the build-up from yesterday to today there's been a lot of anticipation. With setting the collegiate track national record in the 200m Qualifier yesterday, I was really excited to get to the rounds and race today. I feel like it's been a long time coming," said Boone after being asked about how it feels to be a national champion.
With one more day to go, riders will need to give it everything they've got to seal the deal on the overall Omnium standings.
